Dicyclohexylamine(DCHA) is a secondary amine obtained by the catalytic hydrogenation of aniline or cyclohexylamine.Slightly soluble in water but miscible with many organic solvents,DCHA forms protective amine salts with acidic components, reducing the corrosive effect of water and acidic by-products on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is especially effective as a vapor-phase corrosion inhibitor, protecting metal surfaces in both direct contact and surrounding space, With its alkalinity (pH ~11 in dilute solution), DCHA helps maintain the required alkaline reserve in metalworking fluids. This stabilizes system pH, counteracting acidic degradation products and extending fluid service life.By controlling pH and reducing microbial growth, DCHA indirectly enhances the biological resistance of fluids, helping to suppress foul odors and microbial contamination.DCHA is compatible with emulsifiers, lubricants, and other functional additives used in soluble oils, semi-synthetic, and synthetic metalworking fluid formulations.

APPLICATION
Organic synthesis intermediate. Can be used for the preparation of dyes intermediates, rubber accelerator, nitro fiber paint, pesticides, catalysts, preservatives, vapor phase inhibitor, and fuel antioxidant additives, etc.Can be used as corrosion inhibitor, pH adjuster in the metal working fluid. Further more, the two big application is rubber additive and the metal working fluid.
